Time Out Reading

As of 2018, it's my goal to review at least half of all the books I read and to review all the books I rate as five stars. In my reviews I use the following general criteria:

1. Purpose: Why did I read this book? Discuss book’s reputation, how it made its way into my hands.

2. Summary of characters/details that will help readers gauge their interest. Favorite quote. Overall mood.

3. Evaluation: What surprised or disappointed me. Themes presented and effectiveness. Books this book reminds me of.

4. Who would I recommend this book to?

The purpose of my reviews is never to slam a book, but rather to help other readers find books that they will enjoy.
